There are 10 possible hands you can create in Poker, with each one being ranked differently compared to the others. All possible hands are listed below in descending order of their rank, starting with the top hand - Royal Flush.

Royal Flush
A Ten, Jack, Queen, King and Ace all of the same suit
Straight Flush
Five cards all of the same suit in a sequential order
Four of a Kind
Four cards all of the same rank
Full House
Three cards of the same rank along with 2 cards of the same rank. In other words - a Three of a Kind and a Pair
Flush
Five cards all of the same suit but not in a sequential order
Straight
Five cards in sequential order but not in the same suit
Three of a Kind
Three cards of the same rank
Two Pairs
Two cards of the same rank along with two cards of a different rank. In other words - two different Pairs
Pair
Two cards of the same rank
High Card
The default hand for any player. The card with the highest rank
